This post is a round up of the best free WordPress themes that were submitted to the official WordPress Theme Directory section of WordPress.org during the month of May 2012. The themes are listed in order of oldest first to the latest submission. Please note the WordPress theme demo installations do not do some of these themes justice with some missing sidebars etc in the preview screenshots. Over 19 free WordPress themes were released on the WordPress Theme Directory during may 2012 with our personal favorites being Polaroids, Squirrel and Figero.
