WPMods.com aka (WordPress Mods) a popular wordpress blog which shares wordpress news, tutorials, tips along with reviewing themes & plugins has been placed for sale on flippa.com by it’s founding owner Kevin Muldoon. At the time of writing the site has already garnered a bid of $30,000 after revealing around $2,500 per month in income from affiliates and advertising.
WPMods.com is not the first recognised wordpress website to be put up for sale on flippa, around seven months ago WPMember.com a WordPress membership plugin business sold for $33,500. Although both are very different sites WPMods being a blog; WPMember being a paid wordpress plugin subscription business both of these sites show the potential of the WordPress economy.
With seven days left to go on the WPMods auction sale in my opinion it’s not an unreasonable assumption that WPMods could crack the $50,000 barrier before the sale finally concludes.
Whats your thoughts, how much do you think WPMods is worth or what it might sell for? as always leave a comment letting us know.
